A possible come together??

Kenya politics took another wide turn on Thursday, after details emerged that Deputy Prime Minister Uhuru Kenyatta and Sabatia MP Musalia Mudavadi are planning to make a formidable force before 2013 general elections.

Speaking in Nyahururu on Thursday, Mudavadi admitted having positive talks with Uhuru Kenyatta, saying they will form a strong force that will defeat Prime Minister Raila Odinga in the first round.

“You have talked and I have listened. We have made deliberate talks with Uhuru and I assure you that we will come into an agreement so that we can avoid a runoff as you have said,” Mudavadi said.

Mudavadi said he was ready to work with all G7 alliance leaders as long they have a common goal and ideologies.

Uhuru on his part, through his Communications Director, Munyori Buku said he was ready to work with other leaders for the sake of Kenyans.

“The DPM Uhuru Kenyatta has said many times that he will work with like minded leaders and that he will work with like minded parties. Already, during the tour of Kisii and Nyamira counties Ford people and Ford Kenya pledged to work with TNA,” Buku said from Mombasa.

All leaders at the Nyahururu meeting hailed praises on the much waited alliance of the two DPMs, saying they are confidence that the alliance will form the next government.
